I have the week off because it's my birthday this week , so lots of hacking planned and general pootling with the ponies
What's everyone else up to this week?
Hippophilia, good luck with the baby, hope everything goes well, you'll apprecate your sharer once the little one arrives - for a while at least.
Will the sharer also do babysitting so you can ride later?
Katie, Happy Birthday.
What am I doing this week? Hmmm, more or less the same as usual, but more slowly because it is pretty warm right now. 12.15am here and still 20C, over 30C expected tomorrow.
Two mares due to foal this week - or next - or whenever they feel like it.
I am planning to go to see Cavalia which is just up the road on Tuesday evening so of course the mares will decide that then is a good idea to go into labour.
In a little over two hours I'm being admitted to hospital to have my remaining kidney stone removed so excited, then at the weekend I am going to ride not just have a five min wander in the school but ride and
feel no pain
Katie have a great birthday and hippopilia good luck with your baby
My cob is going out on loan to his old owner on Friday so lots of tears even though it's best for him, new loan horse arrives Sunday, vet out today to look at the companion again after 5 days of bite and antibiotics, move little pony and yearling to new grass and go to work!
School new pony hack him to avoid boredom and gently exercise back sore cob. Try to contact physio to come fix cob and hopefully sell spotty arab. Oh and work.
Going to try and lunge mine tomorrow, farrier is due later in the day to replace his shoe again then hoping to long rein or hack next couple of days while i've got extra days off work.
At Hopetoun driving trials friday, saturday and sunday so will be walking hazzards on thursday and friday before backstepping my first national marathon on saturday. Will probably have loads of plaiting and washing and horse holding Friday and Sunday.
I can't wait :-D
