I went to try on Body Protectors AGAIN today, have now tried, airowear, airowear outlyne, racesafe, harry hall, loveson, et al I have heard good things about Rodney Powell made to measure body protectors and was very hopeful of a good result... but, low and behold, apparently they are no longer trading??? Is this true is it temporary or permanent does anyone know? I certainly can't find any links and the shop owner new nothing further.

I love my rodney powell aswell, got mine frm horsatack, pretty sure they were in stock few weeks ago

Charlie76 Do you know which company? Also if they are still doing the made to measure service because that is certainly not what i was told. I was informed that made to measure was no longer available and the bp i finally got was reduced as it was not going to be available anymore 'rodney powell'. I think it is very recent?

Thanks for all of your answers guys. i did try racesafe but no matter how i try, i always end up looking like a tortoise in them.... ;-)

Whats happened to lots of brands unfortunately so many companies are getting products from China etc so its putting a strain on the usual brands. Not saying Rodney Powell do this but a lot of our traditional manufacturing has gone EAST. The quality is not as good. Take a look at M&S bras with rough seams under the arms...quality on lots of products have gone down.

My son has an old Rodney Powell and it is very comfy. The old saying BUY BRITISH!

Am wondering where they are made now? I am always looking at labels these days!

Yes they defo went bust. The name has been bought and they will be made again but unlikely to be in UK, therefore can't imagine made to measure will be an option. Don't airowear do made to measure? What about the Woof Wear one?
