My boy had his hinds removed on 11/07 so we are coming up to 5 weeks in. He was doing great at the start but over the past 2 weeks has got a bit footy. He's fine in the school, on the grass and on Tarmac but struggles down the stony lane. I hate it :(
His feet look sooo short to me! My friend even commented tonight! How do they look to you lot? Anything standing out in particular? TIA

All the right hand pics are from tonight. The left ones are from 2.5weeks ago

Don't look too short to me, just a healthy height. People get used to seeing shod feet that are generally waaaaay too long.
As for being footy, could he have a touch of thrush? It looks a bit black around the frog.

ETA just seen I've echoed what others have said on your other post..

It is normal after a few weeks for the feet to 'wake up' a bit and become more sensitive as blood flow increases etc. So don't worry too much and just boot as required while they settle down a bit more.

Thanks for the replies! How will I treat the thrush? Also what will happen thrush wise in winter when he's always in damp/wet ground? I'm itching to take front off now!
