Hello, so this isn't an important question I'm just curious as to what people think my pony is made of! His passport just says irish sports pony and we were told connie cross but everyone always thinks he's new forest! any ideas?
(will link one photo but theres a few in that album)

cheers :)

Imposible to know really but just as likely a connie cross as anything. He's really sweet and I hope you have lots of fun with him. I love connies they are very smart ponies and the two we had gave my daughter years of pleasure and quite a lot of success too.

ISH is just a cross bred really. They normally have some TB in them. The rest is something native. Looking at the image Connie is definitely not what I would have suggested as the out cross. He's also quite small (or you are very tall!) Is he from a recognized stud whose lines you could check or just passported on the Irish Register?

Looks like he has the newforest fuzz mane!
My pony is supposedly a newforest x although I will never really know as no passport. Friend has a full nf and my mum did. I think they are great :)

haha thanks for the replies and the compliments..i won't tell him though as he's a brat enough as it is. And yes he is very small, 14hh to my 5ft7 but i will continue to pony squish for as long as he can tank off round the common with me. His breeding is unknown just passported through the SJI. Theres no reason i need to know it makes no odds to me, was just being curious more than anything :)
