As title....

I ordered 2 weatherbeeta genero light weights in the dh sale back in aug they cost 27 quid each and after an epic fail with 2 cheap light weights the year before I was a bit nervous.

However they've been great. Even in this rain they've remained weatherproof. They've not rubbed despite not having shoulder gussets and both horses being pretty large around the shoulders. I've only swapped to mediums today as this rains is going to continue and the light weights won't keep them that warm. In fact I even bought my youngster the same rug in a medium :)
 
my HKM Madrid winter boots.....fur lined to the toes, have kept me warm and dry since I got them beginning of oct, and for only £60 I really don't mind if they only last one winter....though I am trying to take super care of them by cleaning and reproofing them once a week:)
 
Derby House, Only had to wait a month for my order and only had to chase them 3 times as apposed to a 6 month wait and dozens of calls ;)
 
My shires long yard boots.. at £120 I am hoping that they will last a while but they have kept me super warm, and super dry and they are the most comfy boots I have ever worn. The mud doesn't stick to them so don't make a mess when I get in the car to go home, nor does the mud dry and fall off in my hallway as there is none, even when I walk through the field in the rain poo picking.. Love them!
 
An original style Saxon medium combo rug. I've chopped the neck cover part off as it was more useful to me without it and I've been using it on my TBx for the last few years. He's always warm, dry and comfortable in it and it only cost me £35 from Your Horse live.
 
My Primark gilet, super snuggly and wearing and washing well!

Equilyptus spray, gets rid of mare wee smell on me, horse, stable and rugs. Fab for my really stinky mare!

I too have used several of their rugs. Funny colours and don't understand who could possibly want a removable tail flap but they stay waterproof for years.
 
The Axiom rug that came with one of my horses, a wash and reproof and it's easily as good as any of the top brand rugs I have.

The Asker 200g turnouts I only bought cos they were 2 for £15 on a website obviously clearing them. They've been so useful!
 
Primark fleece lined gilets - £14 each (got 3), so warm & snuggly & surprisingly wash & wear very well!

Rydale coats. I got fitted wax jacket for £30 & a long riding mac for about the same price. I wasn't expecting them to be amazing - but both are amazingly waterproof & my wax jacket has received lots of compliments as it looks smart too. Let's face it, a riding mac will never look that trendy, so fewer compliments on the look of that, unsurprisingly ...!

Lidl waterproof trousers - especially at the moment! £7.99 I think, but lightweight, they don't 'rustle' & are just fab!
 
University of South Wales. Off the wall and on a tangent, but it's the first thing that sprang to mind! Did the university open day rounds with my son earlier in the year and this one came out top - completely surprised me as it was bottom of the list to start with, but now it looks like the one he'll be going to year after next (deferred entry due to an overwhelming need to play cricket in Australia next winter.....) :)

Are these the fantastic leggings-type thermal-lined joddies??? Coz, yes, would ditto this. Tho' (sorry!!! :) but mine didn't cost this amount, got two pairs for much cheaper than this at a local equine event last year; hardly took them off last year, it was a wrench getting into bed without 'em:) - and they're fab for riding in the wet because your body heat works to repel water.

I'd have bought them at ANY price! Well worth the money IMO.

The other thing that's "impressed" me was the synthetic bridle my loan mare came with.............. hated the look of it initially, but golly has it been useful when its chucking it down with rain and when you get back all you do is bung the thing in a bucket. Simples. Now all I need is a really nice synthetic saddle!!!
 
not horse related but I am so impressed with my little car.
Previous to owning my tiny c1 the only cars I had were 2 litre monsters or pickups...added to that I worked as a trucker. I bought the c1 thinking it was something I would have to put up with just for economical reasons, and I absolutely love it I got it taxed for and insured for less than £160 a year and it runs on fresh air compared to hubbys 4x4, Its bright yellow and dead cheefrull looking. Added to that everyone is nicer to me when im driving it than they are when im in the pick up!
 
Amigo Mio lightweight rainsheet. One of mine has been out full time in this torrential rain in her rainsheet. I bought them in this evening for a feed and was expecting to find at least some rain under her rug if not soaked through as it's such a cheap thin rug but she was completely dry. I'm so impressed with the quality of all Horseware rugs but usually have Rambo's and the odd Amigo Hero. The Mio's don't appear to be of a lesser quality apart from not having the liner fittings. So I'd happily recommend them to anyone needing a good quality cheap rug.

Oh and my Ariat Stormbusters are lovely and warm in this weather and good grippy soles for traipsing through puddles and mud.
 
i hoped it would be good after the amount i paid for it but my JHL Heavy weight combo is amazing this is its third winter and i've not reproofed or washed it and its still incredibly waterproof! fits like a glove and still fits the horse perfectly even though it should be 6inches too short! BONUS!
 
Figs Derby House full neck fleece... The ONLY full neck rug that's never rubbed him! Had it 2 years, still going strong and cost about £35.
 
My new Grubs boots. They are neoprene wellies and i went for the super warm option that are insulated down to -40 degrees. They are so so so comfy and just feel so sturdy and secure on my feet. feet stay bone dry and nice and warm. Liked the look of them but had never heard of them but decided to take a punt on them and SO glad i did, they were only £55 too! Will definitely go back for more if i ever need to.

Really un-impressed with weatherbeta rugs. Bought a heavyweight TO and PJs and they both slip and don't fit that well. Really disappointing.
