Just wondering if anyone would like to take a guess at the breeding of my lad, as I think it might be a little different to what I was told (he's a rescue). Not that it bother's me mind, I'm just curious to see if anyone else thinks the same as me.

Without any more waffling- here's Blue:

Tbh I can't see any GSD in there, the coat is too short. and lots of breeds have similar shaped heads. The colouring could be boxer, but could also be ridgeback, staffy etc. I am always wary of guessing at breeds, as crosses quite often look nothing like either parent. He is a gorgeous looking dog, what breeding did the rescue tell you?

Oooh he's lovely! Perhaps a bit of collie, greyhound and GSD? And I saw a hint of Great Dane as well in there, esp. around the eyes and the muzzle but that's probably just me :p

Thanks everyone :), I think he is lovely too (but then I am biased)... most of the time!

Actually, some of you got the right breeds, but not the right mix!:)

We were told he's 3/4 Ridgeback & 1/4 Collie, but I think he has some greyhound or lurcher in there because he has that kind of body shape, and certainly is a sight rather than nose hound.

He has many of the breed traits of his mix too :D

I could believe ridgie x collie - the colouring threw me off for a minute, very boxerish, and the pictures of him at full extension made me think something greyhoundy/lurchery but you can get very slim houndy ridgies and tall skinny collies. He is very handsome regardless. :D
