I'll hopefully getting a jumping saddle on my birthday(November), as all the horses that I ride at my barn have GP saddles(19") that are WAY too big for me!

Above is the saddle that I like, but I have a question about it, do u think this saddle will fit thoroughbreds and warmbloods(horses about 15-17hh, flat barrowed) The horse that I leased over summer(16hh)had a Berny Bro GP 18" saddle, wide(she was actually quite fat! Lol). I bet this not fit her and I won't be riding her much as she's an begginer riding horse.
It'll be the best if I can see the actual thing but I can't so please just give me an idea of it.

Do you actually have your own horse/loan horse?
If not..why do you need your own saddle if you're just going to use it on multiple horses?

And if you're going to use it on multiple horses you'd be far better off with a flexible tree such as the leather treed flexEE by heather moffett as then you have no worries over the saddle nipping the horses shoulders through being too narrow etc etc

You can't just bang a treed saddle on multiple horses as it will cause them pain and issues.

I would imagine it's going to be very difficult to fit one saddle to multiple horses, I would speak to a saddler but I can't imagine it is going to be as simple as it sounds

No, I don't own one or anything, but I'll be loaning a thoroughbred jumper(he's an ex-racehorse) or a flat barrowed warmblood(I don't know what breed) and the reason I want it is because I'm going to be focusing on show jumping lessons and the barn doesn't have any show jumping saddles(every horse has one, and even if they do I'll be not going to be able to use it because it's owned) but GP and they're all too big!!

Large SJ yards have a selection of foam panelled (non-adjustable) saddles, so when a horse changes shape they switch saddles. This is how they get away with having saddles that fit more than one horse, plus they use shim pads to adjust the fit. Having one saddle to fit various horses isn't the same thing really as you have no-where to go if they change shape. Yes, with a shim pad for each it may be possible to make one saddle fit two similarly shaped horses, but I think you need expert help, get a good fitter out once you have your horse, and explain that ideally you'd like it to be able to fit other horses. They may be able to give you information about shim pads, but you should get them back out to shim the saddle for the new horse as well.

I see sbloom has commented but I just wanted to add that I've had two well known saddlers tell me that Shires are just not suitable for TBs or WBs with a bit of wither - their panels are too thin. One actually said 'you'd be sitting on the equivalent of two rolling pins'.

Great for flat backed, low-wither ponies, however.
