What's R W F (Willy) Poole doing these days?

As the title really, I'm pretty sure the anti hunting stance in England was one step too far for him, and he went abroad, but does anybody know for sure?

I love his humour, his books tend to make me snort with laughter at inopportune moments!

As far as I know he is still living in France. He was a bit like a rat jumping a sinking ship IMO and I lost a lot of respect for him but I agree, I did like his books and humour; met him a few times and he tried to be a larger than life figure, mostly carried it off too!
