Hacking out on fairly busy lanes that are 60mph or 30mph road which is slightly busier?

Depends on the roads/visibility - bends/hills etc..

Slightly busier 30mph roads I would say.

Drivers have got more chance to stop if something happens, are more likely to see you, are likely to be looking for hazards more in a 30mph limit, may go round corners slower, etc.

I ride on quiet country lanes, national speed limit, the drivers are lethal!! I was much safer when I used to keep a horse in a town.

Thanks. The 30 roads are straight roads or open bends so good visibility.
