As in title really, I competed there last year but only did 2ft9" and got eliminated half way round the course so can't really remember what the jumps are like.

All I know is that there's a blue xc jump because I remember my horse refused there which got me eliminated

Anywhoo what's the PN course like?
Just wondered as may do some training there.

The ardingly PN course is straight forward but bold and solid. 1st jump is the 2nd largest flower bed, the sharks teeth, then portable pheasant feeder thing, then down into little field and over hanging log in hedge line (second part of the novice combination), then another portable in the little field, over rails back into big field and over ditch palisade. Back into starting field and over another portable followed by double of chairs, normal width one to skinny chair, then trakhener, then big brush fence, log- 2 steps down to skinnyish blue roll top, into quarry and coffin to skinny offset roll top. Out of quarry and over stepped portable fence. Back into top field and over big hay cart then water of some sort! and i think thats everything!

Was it the wavey fence you stopped at or the palisade which I seem to remember was half blue? Lots stopped at the wavey one when I was there, and my lad had a jolly good look.

I assume it was the blue one just after you jumped the small hedge (alongside) the water? I saw a lot of horses stopping there it was probably one of the only fences my horse actually was ok to jump - but then she's odd. The PN is a solid but nice course if only I had a horse that would jump it

Really nice, I would say quite up to height but very well build and inviting. I did it as my second PN, and last event last season, and have just entered as my first PN this year - can't wait to be out eventing again!!

Bee ddi the Nov last year, first water caused alot of problems, log to water then had to do tight right to a corner on 3 strides.

hanging log into coffin caused a few stops for those who didn't give horses time to see.

Couple of up big single step, turn to skinny.

Thank you gives me some idea

Its only the coffin that puts me off so will have to make sure I give her time to see it and dont let her know mummy hates them
