Whats the best fly spray?

Avon skin so soft, without a shadow of a doubt. Keeps the flies away better than any 'fly spray' and it's good for the coat too.

It's what gets used on all the queens horses btw ;)

Since Melly had a reaction to the skin so soft (used for years with no probs, but this year scabs and the works????) I went and bought the ned NAF citronella and its FAB!
They have been sprayed twice a day for 2 days now and havent needed fly sheets or masks! I got a free wrist band with the product in it and have really noticed that I havent got any flies round me either, even when near the muck heap....of course I did have a shower yesterday, so perhaps that helped ;)

I use coopers have been a convert since my old boy had a terrible reaction to fly bites. As my mare doesn't have this reaction I spread my coopers out a bit more by diluting a bit with a little bit of water to thin it and putting it in a spray bottle to use between doses.

I make my own and it works!! (cold tea, citronella, lavender, tea tree and cider vinegar..oh and a sqirt of fairy liquid!!) My boy has really sensitive skin and had a horrendous reaction to Nettex and was irritated by a few others i tried so decided to make my own...fly free and smells great too!!

I was asking a friend this today and she swears by Listerine - yes as in the mouthwash! Am yet to try it myself but am willing to give it a go

Another vote for Coopers here, i was introduced to it last year, and will never use anything else now. Well worth the money imho.
I put it in a spray bottle and it lasts ages

I make my own to citronella and tea tree just cause my boy has bad sweet itch and its the only thing that works! But blackhorse I think ill try your lavender idea for the nicer smell!

We use Coopers. Before that we used to use Power Phazer, changed to Coopers purely because the effect of it last longer. Don't use the full amount they recommend though and it still works fine.

could someone put the catalogue number up for the avon skin so soft so i can buy the correct one, just in on the site and there are loades of oils and body washes etc

cheers

Will he let you spray him? you may have to get some cream if not, we are feeding fly repel as our little man runs a mile at the site of a spray bottle.;
