As title states - I have an old pony who is a little stiff in her joints and wondering what people think....At the moment I am using codliver oil for her but she still seems to be pretty stiff....
My other horse who is 5 also has a slight clicking joints so I wanted to use something which could be used for both....

I was going to look into using SuperFlex on my boy as need something, but dont know much about it. If anyone has any experiences of it, please do let us know.

i use equiflex its only £16 a pot for two months its brill rebel goes much better this than a really expensive one that was costing £100 plus a pot

Just to keep you busy with your research I use Premiere Flex http://www.equineanswers.co.uk/prodpage.asp?ProdID=4 now as suggested by another forumer and it works out to be a high dosage and the cheapest long term. They do do many other joint supps too.

I have to say when I started looking into it I got very confused and have tried a few and have finally settled on Premiere.

Happy researching

One more to add to your list! Feedmark's ExtraFlex HA info here and they have it on special offer at the moment. My big mare was diagnosed with arthritis last April, she has been on Extraflex ever since and is much, much better. I also use Feedmark's Agility for our old dog - it's given him a new lease of life

I have been recommended to use NAF super Flex or Equilibra Joint Aid.....super flex slightly more expensive but im gonna start on that then move onto the cheaper one!

Pernaval is basically powdered green lipped mussel. It cost about £60 per pot but lasts about 6 months. my mare was stiff in her shoulders and after her being on it for 6 weeks there is such a difference! There are some studies on the net and it is supposed to be more effective than glucosamine etc.
