i'm off training with my old mentor and as i'm riding his horses and clients horses i need insuring up to the eyes-just wondering if any of you are insured? who with? and if they're recommenable?
i have no idea where to start so any help would be appreciated:)

I am with cis I think it is! It is accident insurance & covers me for everything! Even horse riding! Off work through injury, hospital stays, dental work etc...

Will find out the full details if you wish.
Think I only pay around £30 a quarter so not bad considering what I could loose! I haven't claimed but know a young lad had an accident with a trial bike broken arms, legs facial injuries hospital stay & he ended up with aound 6k! Well his Dad did as it was him that payed for it! Lad wanted new bike Father didn't!

I have rider insurance but not sure who with, dad did it the other day for me

Will check later

Hi, i can't remember what the company is called that i am insured with, but they seem very good, came recommended from my trainer. i'm covered reguardless of what i happen to be doing if i have an accident, it cost me about £40 per quarter, bu this depends on how much you insure yourself for! x
ETS i'll check later the name!

the british horse socirty they are really good they are £55 ayear and your covered to ride any horse even your own and you get really good deals on stuff

I'm with Pet Plan for about £90 per year and they cover me, the horse and third party which I think is good.

thanks everyone-do please let me know when you have the names and the policy type as i really don't know where to start on this-there are so many insurers and they don't cover the same incidents that thesame type of insurance from other companies do so it's a bit confusing. i'm not sure if the bhs one is all that, ther are so many exclusions i'm not confident i'd be insured for every eventuality:/
thanks for your opinions tho:)
