I have a new Startrekk Dressage saddle and I have a problem... The stirrup leathers that are supposed to be used are the 'T Bar' ones... now, I'm not over keen on them but also I have concerns over the safety of the T Bar it's self, I am totally paronoid that the T Bar will snap and I find myself gripping slightly with my knees and calfs to prevent all of my weight going onto the stirrups, this is something which I do not like at all...
So... can anyone recommend stirrup leathers which have a flat buckle (like normal leathers) but without the bulk under my thigh... I have tried normal leathers and there is just too much bulk and they dig in my leg... so I need something with a flat laying buckle... Can anyone help... anyone at all??
