Whats the best wormer for a mare just had a foal?

I use an Ivermectin based wormer, but I couldn't give you any UK brand names, best thing is to ask your Vet.

It is time of year to use a tapeworm wormer. I really wouldn't worry about asking vet $$$. Just go to local agricultural/ equestrian place and ask for a wormer that does tapeworms too that is ok for lactating mares.
We have about 8 broodmares and i just wormed all of ours with tablets i got from internet that cost £1.50 a horse!!!! (we have about 40 youngstock so worming is usually expensive) same stuff just really cheap!! and ok for broodmares with foal at foot.
Ivermectin is great but wont do tapeworm, you need a wormer that has Praziquantel in as well.

I should have added that my mares are all wormed comprehensively prior to foaling, the Ivermectin is given after foaling on the advice of my Vet. There has been quite a few threads about this in this Forum recently, maybe a quick search would be helpful.

If you want to stop foal heat scours then Ivermectin within 18 hrs of foaling.

For all 3 species of Tape together with red, bot, roundworm, lungworm, and the lesser species Equi-Max has been tested safe at 5x the dose in lactating mares, according to blurb. (Ivermectin & Praziquantel). It is also said to be safe on foals from 2 weeks of age and has been tested to 3x dose.
