I don't really have any stories to start off...
My friend once jumped 3"3 on a Shetland pony!

I used to compete 3'6" on an 11.3

I was mad, she was great. We won, when I stayed in control, she honestly never touched a pole or stopped, I just couldn't steer, and we'd do jumps backwards, or id fall off trying to go the correct direction

Friend's daughter wiped the floor at a RS jumping competition at 1.10m (about 3ft 6") on a 13.3hh last year. There were some big horses competing but L and the pony had the advantage of being able to take some amazing turns and routes round the course.

Falling off ones

When I'm home Ill find some out and scan them in. FFS I won't even do 2'6 now

Mirri, 12.2hh Yakut pony, renowned for not being a particually agile breed, at the age of 20 still speeds round our 1 metre+ cross country course with the most unconfident riders... put someone who knows what there doing on her and it's another story however, when she'll rear and nap like a bitch...

I did 3ft 6 in a chase me charlie on a 12.2, and have jumped 3ft 3 on an 11hh

Once had a lesson on a Welsh, can't have been more than 12hh, and he was for sale - had me jump him and just kept putting the jump up and up. No idea what height we got to but must of been 3ft+
Was years ago, pony was awesome though I wish I could have bought him! :/ Think he went to a jumping home in the end though and I really hope he's doing well

me and my pony last year whos 13.1 were SJ courses 3'6'' last year never got beaten by a horse all last comp season, she is like a little bomb :P

Once did a chase me charlie on my 13.1 (many moons ago) and jumped 4'. Was a cracking pony who would jump anythng out hunting, post and rail fences, park railings the lot, not sure how big they would measure at but guess big enough! Would not dream of jumping things like that now.

5ft on a 14.2 SJ
a whacking huge picnic table in the senior section of a XC in Yorshire on a 12 hand Exmoor mare.
a similarly huge XC fence at another Yorkshire venue two telegraph poles wedged into the banks into a V (narrow at one side about 4ft in width at the other) standing about 3ft 6ins on an old fashioned low slung Fell pony.
The latter two were about 30 years ago when hats were not compulsary and back protectors? what's a back protector?

i once build up the courage to jump my 14.2 pony over a 3ft6 tyre jump and was so proud until an 11hh horse with a little boy in tackies and trainers game galloping up flat out of control and cleared it easily! i was shocked!!

snap with the picnic bench on my old pony, with a pole a foot above it. got a pic on my facebook. but she would jump higher and wider then that anyway. she schooled over 1.25 at home and she was classed as a 138cm although she was only 13hh. she was a good pony.

my daughter jumped a chase me charlie on her 12.2 we made her stop at 4ft 6..he happily goes around 1.20 tracks...

5'9" on a 14.2hh in a Chase Me Charlie when I was 16. I remember it was a long way down!

Had to share 1st prize with someone on a big horse cos they ran out of holes on the wings!
