As the title says really...what's it's correct name-and how much roughly is a new one??

Yes-I'm probably a div lol but if you don't ask these things how do you learn? I thought it was a portmouth pelam with copper rollers but couldn't find a similar one, and didn't know if it had a different name?

Not simple, I'm almost a loriner (I design and make bits, but not joined the worshipful company of loriners) so know pretty much what is available in this country!!

Well its only worth what someone will pay for it! More if its 5.5" rather than 5"!

You wouldn't be able to buy it new for under £50 at the moment though (haven't got pricelist to hand)

Thanks for that! It's 5 1/4" whatever I get for it is a bonus. It came with my mare but I put her in a snaffle, am now selling everything I can find to fund a new saddle lol
