Between a physio and a McTimoney Chiropractic?

Both seem to offer the same thing?

My Boy is very stiff down his left side so i was hoping to book one.. but which one?!

Believe Physio work on muscles and Chiro on bones, but may have got that completely wrong. If horses hasn't already seen a vet, it maybe worth getting vet to check 1st (often back problems are a result of hind limb lameness, thus even if back pain resolved, will return till underlying problem addressed, if that makes sense).

I'm a McTimoney Corley spinal therapist. You cant use the term chiropractor as the GCC ( General chiropractic council) wont register animal practitioners, even if you do humans too, on animals they are a spinal therapist. (thought i'd clear that up before I get taken to court!!)

Basically chiro/spinal therapy uses manipulation and muscle release techniques, physio is just muscle and massage.

Obviously I believe chiro/spinal therapy is more comprehansice although am not very neutral!

As above, if vet rules out any limb probs give someone a call to check atlas/neck/spine/sacroiliac/ pelvis as all very v common problems. Also is the muscle build up uneven on both sides?

Good luck
