What's the most expensive or cheapest horse....................

I've only ever owned* 2 horses - one cost me £200 and was a fab little jumping & dressage pony, the other was the boy who was free...we go intro/P-N next season

Cheapest has been a few project ponies at £500. Most expensive was £4500 and no, he wasn't worth it and he's the only horse I regret buying (not his fault). Most Ive sold a pony for is £4000 although looking back I could have easily got more and am rather gutted I didnt! Have always made money on all horses, bar 1 who I sold at £1000 less than I bought for.

cheapest £2k

Most expensive £3.5k

The 2k horse would probably sell for at least twice as much, didnt realise what i bargin i got

Cheapest £1000 incl tack and rugs! Ex racer who was about to be sent to the meat man...
Most expensive (and only other) current horse who was £5000 as a yearling (and worth every penny!)

Cheapest was little pony, bought him for about 300 as a 2 1/2 yr old, sold him (only one we have ever sold!) for 1200 including everything (he was a fab jumper and pony club alrounder) and bought him back for 1000- he is 13.1hh
Most expensive was 2000, ex -bsja (up to 1.25m) but had been out of work for a year, totally unschooled
But by far best buy was my ned ned- 1200 as a 7yr old who had jumped and had basic schooling. But he has the right brain and attitude which imo is priceless

I bought a scruffy little section A yearling colt from Melton Mowbray sales, he was £30 but me and a friend paid half each.
A year later I moved away and she gave me her half of him, and I sold him this year as a 7 year old for £2500
