Whats the oddest horse's name you have come across?

Excellent thread! Some brilliant names.

My old boy is called Bottle! My cob was called King Edward when i had him but everyone kept on calling him Spud, which I quite liked but I hated King Edward so was changed to Rock Steady Teddy.

Am horse hunting at the moment and I reckon about 80% of the horses I've phoned about or seen have had human names ... Sophie, Gordon, Basil, Sean....
 
I've got a horse on loan called 'Bridget'. I also knew a hores called 'Flossy for Now' and an ex-racer called 'Noble Token'.
 
Used to own a horse called Teabag (RIP)

My sister has a horse called Maynine as she was born on May the 9th (named by previous owners)

Orphan - he was a rescue.

Leroy - lovely black horse named during the time of Fame.

Teaparty and Priscilla - riding school horses.

Zippo - horse I wanted to buy but failed vetting
 
I know a horse called "Whatever"....he gets called Watty for short

I also know on called "Blaze" (her OH is called "Flash")

And a miniature shetland stallion called...."Golliath"

My two are Junit and Risebue. Both very unusual names (not given by me) The first is a Russian name and the second is German.

I'm not keen on human names for horses... I like different sounding ones like Minna, Indie, Delphi and Drift (my 1st pony)
 
My current one has the most stupid name I've heard - Occult Blend . I can only think that prior to export from holland that some used a translator program and got this out. Devils Brew or Mix of the Devil would have been much better

Butterballs, Wee Willy Winky, Slippy, Crusty and Slippa and Shafter. This was at a riding school when I was less than ten. Only recently has it dawned on me what the stable girls were thinking about when they named the poor sods. Why didn't the parents say anything ???? God was I innocent.

ME! I HAD A MARE CALLED VALERIE! Honestly, I bought her with the name Vanity but couldn't bear it so before we'd even got home we changed it to Valerie, or Val, which suited her very well! I wanted something that sounded the same when I called it over the field, and it suited her so well it stuck! No offense taken by the way!
 
Having admitted to owning a Valerie, i ought to admit to having a Psycho (who definitely isn't), and a Kevin. Have also in the past had an Anchor with a silent W. Racing yards you see, we have to choose names per alphabet letter per foaling year, so come up with some corkers, but we only keep our favourites!

and i have loaned horses named Heaven and Karma. i love human names for horses :)
 
Well my horse is called snowy....
On my old yard there is now one called fatti (actually called that he has no other name poor thing!)
And on my new yard theres one called tea - bag!

Oh and at a show on tuesday someone was screaming at there horse, i asked them the horses name and they said Rebel! Aptly named in that case :p :)
