No it doesn't. We use it at work (on people) all the time. We wouldn't be allowed to use a steroid without medical advice.

Sudocreme is a barrier cream with an antiseptic action. Not a steroid.

it may not contain steroids but its a banned substance and cannot be used on competition horses competing under rules (FEI/BSJA deffinatly). at work we couldnt leave it out on the yard and had to be shut away and everything had to be washed thoroughly after we used it on the baby horses so as not to contaminate the bigger ones. such a shame as sudocreme fixes everything!
 
This is turning into a great thread OP. Only problem now is that I've got a huge great shopping list of stuff I really can't manage without to add to my already full storage space!! Hey ho ....... I'm off to the shops .......
