What everyone else said. Kimblewick without the curb chain or hooks, it has the hole for them though.....not sure how effective that would be.

(very annoying-keepers not in use)sorry but do like it to be neat and tidy.
a utoxeter kimblewick has slots for the reins.

Not my horse btw! My photo obviously, but not my pony, belonged to a friend and this was him on loan so rights/wrongs irrelevant (not meant nastily and I can see the wrongs but just wanted to know what it was!)

Looks like an older kimblewick (Not kimberwick!)
Not all ave slots and you can see the hole where the curb loop should be.

Oh good, i'm not the only one that finds kimberwick a teeny bit irritating then! Must say I'm a bit old fashioned and think a kimblewick is a fabulous bit for certain horses and especially it seems strong ponies, sadly kimblewicks seem to have been taken over by dutch (bubble) gags which I loathe with a passion, has anyone felt the weight of those bloomin things!

I have a dutch gag and it's actually rather light, it's lighter than the old kimblewick I have ! It has hollow metal on the mouthpiece.
