A 16.2hh Fresian x tb black gelding that is talented and eager, has breaks but does throw in the odd buck and dances around when excited and does mini rears. FAST! Good enough to win the nf point to point anyway.

My dream horse has always been a stunningly beautiful, typey, athletic chestnut Arab stallion, with lots of presence and character and breathtaking movement...

....and I now have him - H Tobago, my dream-horse! I am soooo lucky - still have to pinch myself, can't believe he's really mine!

My dream horse has turned out to be my nightmare! So one that went forward and just agreed with being ridden would be nice or alternatively his mother bought back to life as I miss her every day I wake!

My dream horse is one that has the ability to get to Grand Prix dressage... frighteningly, I think I may already have her even though I planned on breeding one and just loaning Dizzy girl for 12 months

It sort of went a bit wrong when she started to show me just what she is capable of.

I look back at when we started competing BD in June and cannot believe how far we have come in just four months!!!

I also dream of breeding a Grand Prix horse too... Troy has a long way to go yet, but he certainly has the ability and breeding on his side

16hh, dapple grey, 6 year old, well bred Belgium WB mare who loves her work, tries to jump anything for you, and is sweet, friendly and funny. Here she is:

Spent about 15 years dreaming and 15 months looking for her - but here she is!

Atlas was my dream horse. I saw him when he was 11, turned out in a field, skin and bone. 17hh, beautifully bred and a former Scope/Hickstead grand prix/speed horse. I remember thinking that if I could just sit on him quietly, and if he would just give me a chance... I owned him for 18 months till the day he was put down, and there wasn't a single day that wasn't the best ride of my life. He was a superstar who jumped 1m50 and had an extended trot so powerful, I could barely even contain it...

Sobbing over my laptop, and it's been over a year since he went!
He had reached Grade B in Scotland by the time he was 5, then did a few more years as a grand prix horse, then Keith Shore took had him as his speed horse for a while.... then for whatever reason, Atlas started to stop. He was traded to a friend who did 1m20's on him for a while, then decided he should have an easier life. From day one he was the best horse I had ever sat on; he'd had a lot of dressage training too...being able to do the length of the arena in 2 time changes is something I'll never forget!
Anyhow, one day just before Christmas, his movement felt a bit odd; I got the vet out, and I was in shock when he shook his head and told me right there and then, that Atlas wasn't going to make it. He had kissing spine, and although the vet school wanted to operate, he'd already developed arthritis in both hindlegs, but worst of all, he started to fall over in the lorry and the stable....
Nothing will ever replace him - not even my mare (who is better on paper) and I will never get over losing him, but at least he was mine, and I had the honour of riding him, everyday..

Kind of bought what i hope will be my dream horse back in April but i'd also like to have Gem (the grey in my sig) as a 3yr old (she's 15 now) or my old horse lance without his back troubles

Sallypops, Benji is GORGEOUS, what a beautiful head...

Mine would be my beautiful black FEI 'pony' who took me to intermediate and the Junior champs. He was so beautiful (he won the WHP championship at Hickstead before I got him) and he was a double clear machine with a mouth like silk. If I could have him but 16hh, with a bit more blood in him to cope with the 3 days and advanced, plus slightly more extravagant movement and minus his tendency to tie up, that would be my dream horse

Failing that, I suppose Galan de Sauvagere would do...

Dubh, but 5 years old and sound

.

He's my horse of a lifetime, he never got to show everyone what he was really capable of & I've never been so attached to a horse before. I owe him everything & he'll be with us to the end.

I am hoping DA will be my dream horse of the future, hugely talented & with a greast brain, we just need to keep learning together.

Sirrius was my dream horse

I do love my horses to bits and they are my dream horses in one way or another. Gypsy was not the perfect little pony I dreamed about as a child, but soon became one. Septre was bred so definatly a dream come true. Amber was my dream horse when I decided to buy her and although we have had a time of it so far, I hope she will fulfil my dreams eventually!

Saying that, IF I win the lottery, an Akhal Teke (sp), Arab, Andalusian and a Fresian would be quite nice.

My OH's dream horses would be a Shire, Shetland (hence Jethro) and a Quarter Horse.

17hh coulored gelding about 7 years old who keeps himself clean with no poo stains. good all rounder and can take me around a bsja course but also likes happy hacking. Got to be loving and likes being loved which is nothing like mine (probably why she is for sale and i am giving up)

Malibu, he was the best horse i ever had and although he did not have the floating paces or the good breeding he was an angel in my eyes and always will be!
