This past weekend I went away with my horse and oh to an eventing show. After I had finished with my cross country we took a drive out to look for a place for lunch. After being unsuccessful and one unpleasant incident we decided to go back and watch the cross-country and eat there.
Anyway to get to the point we were driving back down the road to the cross country. They had built the course along the road. There was a horse approaching so they flagged us down to move off the road. So we did and then tried to get back on the road once the horse was passed.
There was a guy on the side of the road. He started shouting at us and waving his hands. So my OH asked what the problem was.
He shouted that we should know that we are supposed to show when someone is riding. Then we went to get lunch in the tent he stormed in and shouted at us in front of anyone and gave us a strong warning.
I don't know who he was and don't care but that was just rude and disgusting. I can't believe there are people like that. He probably doesn't even know how to ride.
So that kind of put a damper on a nice weekend. Why do some people have to be like that.
