What's wrong with this horse?

Something doesn't look right with Chloe's front legs after my mum was left loose with scissors over the weekends.

After 3 days, 4 pairs of scissors, 3 people, 1 packet of treats and a lot of threatening with said scissors, her legs are once again a matching set

From now on her show name will be Nora Batty

Oh, sorry, I didn't realise you'd clipped him. I thought he'd been half eaten by goats. Your mum isn't a hairdresser, I hope?

Thankfully no, she's a teacher!

Legs aren't clipped as Chloe is dangerous to do her legs even sedated and was being a s'd with the scissors. It took 3 of us to get the last leg done last night, and it looks even worse than the others, hence the lack of an 'after' photograph...

Glad your Mum doesn't do this for a living...

I did once work for a vet whose great business plan was to advertise for dodgy horses to clip and trim...he'd sedate them, and you guessed, I'd clip them.
Not fun. I actually found they were easier without the sedative because at least I knew when the kick was coming.

That's actually not a bad idea

Not sure about your vet's plan though... not surprised you're not still working for him

We've found Chloe has been better without sedation to do her main body, so I'm hoping to get to do her legs eventually. Maybe after another 10 years of trying

hehe, I know that situation! Beau once had dodgy legs of r over a week as could only do 1 leg a night, and I was up every other night, hehe. He was NOT impressed at being laughed at and it got him some funny looks on the yard.
