mine was tonight when I popped to check the nags on the way home from work. the little mini saw me from over the hill and came running to say Hi!

this may sound like nothing but this is the most nervous pony in world, haven't had the courage to try and catch him since we moved coz im scared of scaring him more when I've spent the last couple of month building his trust and getting him to graze next to me and eat from my hand!

thanks guys, he's the best thing since Crisps! I can't wait until he's unfazed by being caught so I can give him loads of cuddles and kisses! I got kisses this morning but from him stretching is neck as far as he could!

My best feeling ever with regard to horses was when I bought my little un handled welshie a couple of years back, I let him loose in a 4 acre field with my lot, a few weeks later after lots of approach and retreat he came to me for his first groom. Never ever in my life have I felt so proud of anything I have ever achieved. this is the moment I knew what trust was all about

awww that's lovely, you look sooo happy! I've had my boy a year but he's always been out with others and couldn't get look in when I went in to see him. ive moved yards now so he on his own due to having too much grass but he'll go out with the other 2 by the winter! he's become so much braver since he's had the one to one attention, so sure ill have a smile just like yours in no time :)

Mine is almost everyday when my horse (first and much longed for) calls out to me and then canters over.
 
One of the best feeling I've had recently was on Wednesday when I took my horse that I could barely ride two months ago (very nappy and explosive, needed someone on foot with me all the time) on her first outing and she behaved perfectly. She has come so far in a short space of time.

This picture sums up the day perfectly for me
