Lovely Northamptonshire again!

I have had IDxTB and TBxHannoverian, and i much prefer the former. maybe they're not quite as athletic, and maybe they don't move as well, but their brains seem to be in the right way round! the Hann crosses are incredibly spooky and don't seem to grow out of it.
What do you think?

Totally agree, I have owned a WBxTB, IDxTB and a TB and I would definately go for the IDxTB everytime. Also have a soft spot for Connemaras and chunky Section D's!

I second idxtb as my favourite breed too!! Ive had 5 different ones in total -all lovely but the 2 i have at the minute are fab! They are talented jumping and in dressage, have great temprements and are smart looking horses too!! I wouldnt have anything else now!!

North American bred, working strain Quarter Horses, without question. They do not flinch at anything they see in life. They are the most well-balanced horses I've ever come across, both mentally and physically. Nothing compares to them in my opinion.

my IDxTBs have been so forgiving, too... i've made the odd diabolical mistake XC and they've just stayed straight (at times straightened themselves to jump skinnies!), sorted it out, sailed over, and not held it against me at the next fence. that takes some horse, in my book.

Having had a nightmare welsh cob she has put me off the breed for life!

I do like TB's, I miss working with them, and they are such intelligent horses.

Id love an ID or IDx, but my favourite breed has to be the Warmblood.

Mine are far from dumb and stupid (which is the steroetype they seem to get!) , best of all they have a personality and make life interesting, I would get bored with a robotic type horse. I like a bit of character!

Lance is a Latvian WB, the only one Ive ever met and his personality is like no other horse Ive known. He has me in fits of laughter!

Out of 4 horses, 3 of them have been ID x TB so think there is a pattern forming. All the perks of a TB with the temperament of an ID (in the ideal world). I like Irish horses - they have a sense of humour !! Its a shame as this breed is so popular, why they now seem much harder to find......

I love my Irish TB. Looks like he has been made from the spare parts box, but he is honest, loyal and so laid back about life (unless there is a wheely bin close by, then he is nuts!!)

I have an Irish TB and a TBXID although I think there's more TB than ID. He's so much quieter than the full bred TB but has a stubborn streak about jumping at the moment! I love TBs but since getting a TBXID I think I could actually learn to like them better than a pure bred...Are TBXID typically stubborn??! Or is it just mine..

My absolute favourite breed is Highland ponies (well it would have to be, I want to breed them) but I do have a TBxID who is a total gentleman and I love him to bits.

As for why I love Highlands, they can turn their hoof to just about anything, have a steady temperament and are a manageable size

welsh cobs, they are intelligent tough, hardy, and can do a dressage test as well as a warmblood anyday....can turn a hoof to anything, i also like a hogged out show cob.

cobs, amazing, mine is young but escorts all the oldies through everything, last night we had a hissing spitting llama and the others wouldnt go past it until my boy showed them the way. tonight we put him in a trailer to practice for the move on sunday, perfect. ive had the pleasure of owning / sharing / loaning cobs and love them. ive had the pleasure of owning / sharing / loaning most other breeds and whilst i dont think there is a bad breed (or colour) i think some are more flighty than others, ie thoroughbreds / arabs etc.....

I love the trakehner, mainly because i am privileged enough to be owned by one

. They are highly intelligent, powerful, graceful and are usually exceptionally good looking with fantastic movement. I also adore Part bred arabs, of the ones i have known and owned they are lovely to ride, have fantastic temperaments and are very good looking. I also have a soft spot for Irish horses, connemara x's and ID x's. They are hardy, have good temperaments and mine have all been pretty trainable and a joy to own!!

i must say my welsh A is so funny and a real soppy sod when he wants to be, if you crouch down in front of him he puts his chin on your shoulder and pulls you in for a cuddle! and we chase each other in the field, he's so amusing!

so definately welsh A's, Cobs and welsh D's

I love Warmbloods, especially mine!! He is Bavarian, and is the coolest dude ever.
He is the most honest, genuine, person i have ever met.
Had 2 ID x TB's and both weren't for me (sorry to all their fans) Also had a shire X ID now she was one hell of a b*tch

Cleveland Bay - A British breed, steeped in tradition. With a temperament to die for. Athletic, powerful, brave, loyal and yet they also have alot of character.

I have a TBx, an ISH & Welsh C and I love them all but I don't think you can beat the look of a super fit TB race horse or eventer. Pure elegance, grace, power, beauty. In my eyes there's nothing better. Also love the look of the Trak and for temprement Irish.

I love all horses really.

Having met some Andalusians, I really, really want one. They just take everything in their stride. Would also love a Fresian.

Breeds I have met and loved are cobs, shetlands, Arab x cob and TBs.

My TB mare is so clever, my shetland is just cute, my cob type was a speed demon to ride, but so soft on the ground and has bags of personalitly and my cob x arab clever but very stubborn at times.
