As the weather (for however small ammount of time) has become summery, what is your favourite thing about it?
For those of you who still have rain, you can imagine what its like ;)

Mine has to be the atmosphere the yard gets, all the horses are chilled in their fields, everyones always around going hacking and chatting and those who compete can get ready together and not have to worry about all the mud!
 
Summer hacks, happy hours spent moseying around the countryside enjoying the sunshine, taking in the flowers and the scenery, not freezing to death and having to plough through mud... Off out on one now actually! :D
 
Taking my boots off and not having wet feet!

And also the lazy sunshine hacks, just chilling in the sun with the horses and horsey people and the suntan without even trying! ;)
 
No mucking out, well only one to muck out, not piling on four or five layers(tho yesterday I had to:(), no rug changes (still waiting for that one to happen) lighter nights.
 
Light nights, not feeling cold 24/7, being able to feel my fingers/toes, not wearing 10 layers everyday, less mucking out, seeing the horses with the sun on their backs, seeing fields of grass (not mud!), not having to feed ridiculous amounts of hay, long hacks in the sunshine, horses not covered in mud (no mud-fever!), dry-accessible bridleways, being able to go up the field in my jod boots (not wellies!), actually having suitable weather for riding (snow/wind/torrential rain has gotten in the way this winter!), everything looks nice and green again! :)

I love summer! Happy Times! :)
 
Summer hacks - Just plodding along the lanes enjoying the sunshine, the birds singing and the lovely scenery. In my opinion there's nothing better than it in the world. :)
