whats your horses favourite treat?

OK I know this is totally random, but just wondering what treat really lights up your horses face? Topper love ginger nut biscuits and worthers butterscotch toffees and will do anything for them! :)
 
Stud Muffins!! He absolutely adores them. However, they are almost pure molasses, so he's only allowed them on his birthday and at Christmas otherwise the Dentist gives me a telling off!!!!
 
Fanta fruit twist, my TB loves it! She now has to check out any bottle I drink from to make sure she isn't missing out lol
 
baby = carrots
stallion = swedes
gelding = carrots - he doesn't get why people like apples
youngest mare = carrots, she cannot work out how to do polo mints
middle mare = mint fiend and carrots
eldest mare = everything she can get her lips around - favourites are mints, apples and carrots
 
Mine just loves anything that comes out of my pocket. In fact, he gets a happy face if I even put my hand NEAR my pocket. Doesn't matter whether I'm standing near him, sitting on his back, across the field....he will happily try to eat my mobile if I make the mistake of trying to answer it near him (ie take it out of my pocket first....) :rolleyes:
 
Hobnobs- go absolutely crazy for them! But a very rare treat, they usually get presented with an apple or carrot :)

He literally chased my brother round his paddock because he rustled a crisp packet - it was pretty funny :D
He does really like lickits though! He doesn't usually like to stand for long periods of time, but give him a lickit and hell happily stand there for ages!
 
Pears or chilli heatwave Doritos. Dont give her Doritos very often! She's also loved carrots, apples, mints... Tbh shes a greedy ****** and will eat anything but she goes mental for pears :)
 
My boy is another whose face lights up if your hand so much as strays near your pocket, but tbh he doesn't get treats often. He adores extra strong mints though.

One of my fave things to do it chew some minty chewing gum and blow gently at his nose = awesome pony snogs :D Not very elf and safety, but he has shown no signs of biting my nose off so far, and if he does then it's my fault, and the snogs are worth it :D
 
Carrots swedes and parsnips. Nothing else and aleays on thr floor or in her feed. lol im a mean mum. never polos lickits or any other treat. :) just a mean old mum
 
My mares go crazy for Polos, but my gelding doesn't 'do' treats. He won't eat carrots, apples, mints or anything.

I used to have a pony who loved doughnuts. She ate half a box of Krispy Kremes once when we left them in the yard....bad bad pony!!
 
Oh and a cup of tea! It's the only thing I let her 'demand' because it is so funny when she gets her tongue and lips around the cup. She will slurp it like a dog. I forget and then take a flask and she's like a tramp on a kipper :o

Mine slurps tea out of a cup like a dog too!! Very cute. He likes Early Grey best :)
