What's your mucking out routine

Arrive at yard and say hello (if she is nearby!) to my girlie!

Pull water bucket, dirty feed bucket and decahedron out to the tap

Bring barrow to back of stable and start picking poos out of whole stable, starting at back.

When all the poos are out, shovel the hay crumbs etc out at the concrete front

Sweep clean shavings back from front into bed, separate dirty ones at the front and shovel into barrow.

Sweep yard at front.

Haynets filled and put in stable.

Water filled

Feed and decahedron put in!!
 
My hay and feed barns are round the back of my stable block so:

*Get haynets and feed bowls from stable
*Go round the back and fill nets/make feeds
*Put full nets and feeds in wheelbarrow and bring back round the front
*Take out water bucket and start filling
*Take nets and feeds out of the wheelbarrow and put on floor outside stable
*Muck out - take out poo, throw clean shavings up the banks, level the wet base, pull all shavings down, reset banks and level bed.
*Put in 1 of the haynets (another livery comes up late so puts in the other), water bucket and evening feed (if out if not leave outside with breakfast)
*Sweep
*Empty wheelbarrow and fork up muck
*Put everything away

Takes me about 20-30 minutes
