What's your riding routine?

Five times a week - Mon, Wed, Fri in the arena, Sat and Sun hack out with alternate Saturdays being a lesson in the arena. I always hack out alone as I don't like to be held up as nobody on my yard has horses fit or ridden enough to go as far as me or as fast!!

I school my mare 4 x per week hack once - except this week as she's in her 'mega spring season' so I've given her 2 weeks off - cobbo I ride 2 x weekly - any more and he is miserable.

No routine at all. Grabbed from the field whenever we feel like it, and hacked, driven, boxed to hack out somewhere different. Alone / in company, single/pair, fast/slow. Keep 'em guessing ;)

There's usually a big Sunday morning hack as a group in there somewhere, but even then we often split into more than one ride (fast and slow), to accommodate different riders, and so that they get used to riding away from their friends.

I vary it tbh. I work freelance with horses so it depends on how busy I am but my horses live out 24/7 in summer and go out everyday in the winter so everyday riding isn't necessary. My Appy who is nearly 18 just hacks now and atm I am trying to get him out on short hacks three times per week. My ISH is coming back into more work after a veery quiet winter due to various problems and is currently being ridden 3-4 times per week which is a mixture of hacking, schooling and usually one jumping session. My new project cob mare is very unfit and green and is also being ridden 3-4 times per week of mostly hacking atm to improve fitness.
