Just viewed a lovely pure trakehner 5 yr old mare at a bargain price but the price reflects a slight swelling she has on a hind pastern, which she got as a foal and was lame on it for a while but only slightly, she's been sound for over 4 years on it but is unbacked so not really been put under any pressure. The swelling is soft like a fluid swelling and very small and to the side and front of pastern but not really hugely noticeable if u didn't know about it but unfortunately the swelling was uninvestigated and so there for not really known what bit is. Does anyone know whats it might be??
