Whats your unlucky venue?

Longleat- Boss did a ligament there first year and was such a git the next year that I had to decide to retire him from competition.

Not going back there in a hurry!!

Markfield!

Always had problems with previous horse there. Now horse isn't that keen either.

It's quite common to other's having problems there too so I know I'm not on my own!

i hate Patchetts indoors with a passion, outdoors is fine though! - i dont do badly when i do go there but they never feel 'right' if you get me.

and i have really silly poles there too!

oh and Keysoe is one of my favourite places!
 
Sands Farm!! The warm-up is fine but my horse hates the indoor surface with a passion - he always looks and feels lame then as soon as he comes out he's fine again! Never had this anywhere else!
 
I used to have a few but then got a lovely horse and managed over come seriously old unlucky venues from when I was little, especially MKEC.
Now have a total fear of Royal Leisure inside, horse hates the warm, literally go flying through the air, so never go!!!!
Also eventing wise totally with BCA, my horse loves SJ and had my first and only fall on her there at the second SJ so unlike her.
 
Kelsall Hill! never do very well, last year we nearly didnt make it there after breaking down! bloody typical, also it's about a 3 hr drive, but the XC course there is good for young horses!

also prestworld, always have stops there and last year it was about 3ft deep in mud! traveled miles to get there 2
 
Not had Shadow long enough to have sussed out too many places but she never goes well at Vale View sj. Not taken her to Field House but I've never had a horse that's liked it there.

Our unlucky BE venue was Brooksby where she did a storming clear round xc then was given 20pens for a circle. I didn't bother querying it at the time as I was only 99% convinced I was in the right and was too tired and cold to hang around til the end. Having checked my rules since I shouldn't have had those penalties and should have come 6th.

I know she went clear but the results show differently

MKEC for eventing/hunter trialling - have been eliminated XC there three times in two years, the only place we have ever been eliminated, despite having schooled there perfectly fine on many occasions.
Patchetts indoor for showjumping - I always seem to ride like an idiot there (but am fine in the outdoor arena)
