what's your weather like?

Just come in from the yard and it's very dark, windy and very cold here in Lincolnshire. We had a sharp shower around 1pm but apart from that we seemed to have escaped the rain for today. Hoping this wind will dry out my paddocks a bit as they're sodden after the non stop rain we had last night. Think we've been lucky here though compared to those in the southern counties although the weatherman has just said it's coming our way! eek!

it was horrible last night - really heavy rain and strong winds

today its just been windy and a few very light showers

think it will get worse agiain tonight though

Horrendous! horizontal rain, very strong rains and a lot of water lying on the roads as well. Only in Surrey as well..Was literally hopping from foot to foot this morning waiting for a break, then quick 40 mins scoot when it had eased off. Had 1 fresh horse this morning as rain stopped play yesterday!

but had lunch in the pub - what luxury!!! who gets to have pub lunches when you have horses..!

Am North West London / Herts borders and its not great but not as bad as I thought it would be. I managed to ride during a lull but stayed in the school rather than hacking out in it (my boy doesnt like rustling trees at the best of times!). Wind wasnt too bad, but rain really started to come down and its not faired up since. Winds picked up a bit too. Left my boy tucked up and warm, and I am now cosy on my sofa! Hot choc weather me thinks

Essex - absolutely hideous. Took a child + pony to Norton Heath early in the morning and it was raining SO hard. The rest of the day was miserable. Fields completely flooded so Maggie has not been out for two days and we had BSJA this afternoon - I nearly fell off three times in the warm up, she was airborne for most of the time - mega spooky and mega fresh.

Super windy and objects and horses flying around everywhere. And it is not looking like the next few days are going to be any better.

You really don't want to know.

This time last year I had snow on the ground, it was sub zero and the horses were rugged, normal for mid November.

Hmmm, today I have been for a walk in shortsleeves, the sun is shining, sky is blue, 16C, horses are hot and sweating, all the windows are open to let some fresh air in to the house, the grass is growing, and I have huge TADPOLES in my pond! Just having a coffee then I am off out to mow the lawn, something is very, very weird going on here, I think I am in some kind of parallel world.

I am enjoying it while I can

Hope all of you with evil weather are managing OK.
