I go from one extreme to another
I love my big skinny TB's then my little chunky cobs

over the years ive loaned all types of horses
1st was a 14.2 Welsh D
then a 16.0 TB X
then a 14.0 dales pony
(above 3 from same owner)

then helped out with a 17.2 shire X TB but stopped as it threw me off nearly everytime i rode it, got a lucky escape as the next person who rode it ended up in hospital with broken ribs!

then helped out with a 14.2 irish cob
before i found my neddy who is a 15.3 TB

so no i dont stick to the same type lol

I like tb x natives. I've had 3 now a 1/2 highland, a 1/4 welsh and my current horse is 1/4 fell. They've all been fantastic.

Agree with Hullabaloo, I like native x TB's. I have two connemara x tb and one 1/4 Exmoor that is 3/4 tb. The two Conny X are small hunter types and the 1/4 exmoor is more of a riding horse type. Prefer mares rather than geldings though

OK.....
I have 1 T.b x percheron x cob, find me another one of them!!!!!!
1 friesian x dutch warmblood also slightly odd
and a shetland pony with devil horns!!!!!
I suppose i have followed along the lines of having similar types of horses, as mine are all slighty odd!!!

I've had;
A connemara, was way big for a connie though- 15.2hh (yes he was pure)
A french Arab- Would hack anywhere for hours and was great fun.
Irish sports horse- A thug, but very good looking, had to go when he atacked my daughter though!!
And I now have an Irish TB. it of a jekyl and hyde this one, is either so laid back he is horizontal, or so wired its like sitting on a electric eel. I love him to bits but at times he scares the sh*t out of me.
I realy miss the connie as he was the best all rounder but bomb proof, no spooks or funny quirks just a lovely horse.

Have currently,
An 11.1hh exmoor
13.2hh NFxWelshyxArabxsomething-black-and-grumpy.
14.1hh Welshy x Nf
Midget Shetland
16.3hh TB

And also ride/have ridden
16.1hh Friesian
17.1hh WB
15hh Mongrel MW mare
14hh Fell x
13.1hh Welsh x something-colourful.

If im being brutally honest, my ideal type of ride was the 11.1hh exmoor. More guts than a lion and more speed and stamina than an antelope. But much more love to give than anything.
However, if she had been any bigger than 11.1hh she would've been downright dangerous!!

my first was a 14.3 chestnut arab X mare. Sweet natured, couldn't jump but liked a good gallop. Sadly she's galloping in heaven now.
current horse is 15.2 grey irish mongrel - very talented mare but also very stroppy and opinionated.
Couldn't get two more different beasties but both great in their own way.

Mine is a 14hh fell pony cross, I had a 15.2 21 yr old cob before but didn't get on with him, I much prefer ponies, it would take a lot to get me on a horse to be honest! I like a good, solid, fun little pony

I prefer solid types, and will be more attracted to them when looking at horses to buy so I suppose that if I had more horses, they would be similar. I currently have a 15.3hh ID X, she's a chunky sort, usually wider than she is tall! I also have a share in a 16.2hh ish MW Dutch thing (not Dutch Warmblood but warmblood type), so again there is my preferance for MW types although I didn't have any choice with him! My first pony was a 14.1hh Welsh Cob, who in her new home currently looks like a picnic bench (very very wide and stocky)!

I would love a friesian or a warmblood. Ive got an IDxTB which I love and would definatly buy another. Im not a fan of big heavy cobs or really fine horses (not that I dont like them, they just arnt for me), I prefer something somewhere inbetween.

I love the chunky's and have a Welsh D...who is my type of horse! The only other breed I would consider is a Freisan.
