He looks lovely! Congratulations!
That episode of Dr Who was so traumatic! It still bothers me to think about it.Go to BBC iplayer and go to Doctor Who. Watch the 11th episode from season 9, which is called “Heaven Sent.” You will be traumatised. I was.
Think of it as an allegory for owning a horse, especially in winter. Doing the same thing over and over and over again, for an eternity. And it can really suck. The scary monsters slowly chasing you are vet bills and all the catastrophic things that can go wrong with horses, and they will catch you eventually. Inevitably. Electrocuting yourself and restarting the whole process is like buying another horse. Because we’re mad/daft, you keep doing it. You have no idea why you’re there or what the f£ck is going on.
Seriously, watch it. Then buy the horse.
Looks lovely. Thanks for all the replies! I retreated to really let all the excellent reasons why I shouldn't get another horse sink in. Which went brilliantly. So well, in fact, I'm getting this sweet little chap vetted next week:

Yes, I think the stories and depth of character and they way they explore trauma and various ethical dilemmas in the Tennent/Smith/Capaldi Dr's was really well done.I came out of it feeling like he looked.
I've noticed in season 10 he's a lot more reckless and his companions have had to physically restrain him, more than once, to stop him from doing something monumentally stupid. I like the subtle way Capaldi and the writers played the trauma.
Awesome can’t beat that!I mean, I think the video I took last night is enough to distract you from all the negative points that have been made...
How else exactly could you possibly want to spend a Tuesday after work?!?!
Fingers crossed for the vetting, I love his face! Let us all know how you get on.
