My lovely wheelbarrow, a present over ten years ago is aging slowly so l’m looking for a replacement.

It was / is decent quality and has survived better than some cheap models.

What does everyone have? Must be easy to manoeuvre and relatively light weight. Will need to cope with st least three full stable ‘muck outs’ each day.
 
I had a builders wheelbarrow, replayed the tyre with a puncture proof one and replaced the “bucket” with a deeper plastic one when the metal one rusted out. I’d go so far as to say better than new now!
 
Mine is a builder's barrow, deeper than it is wide. It was gifted to me by a friend who sold her horse over fifteen years ago, and has had the wheel replaced with a burst proof one. The legs are starting to wear where they touch the ground, but other than that, still good!
 
I've bought an Onyx wheelbarrow - for the size of it it's incredibly light and so easy to maneuver! You could so easily muck out three horses into there at a time!
 
Mine is the same as this one. It's 110L I think and it's the perfect size, I can get loads on it, but it's not too heavy to push up the ramp to the dungheap. It's also got puncture proof tyres.

General builders barrows are too small for my needs and I have a giant two wheeled one that I never use, because it's so difficult to empty.

Mine are also just what the local feed merchant sells, I have one for hay only and one for mucking out/poo picking. I either buy with a puncture proof wheel attached or replace the normal wheel, for me this is one of life's necessities! I've recently replaced one barrow, the one I use for poo picking, but it had lasted at a good 8-10 years and that's poo picking daily summer and winter.

I also have a couple of HUGE wide and deep barrows, the ones with two front wheels. I bought them when I first bought my yard thinking they would save trips to the muck heap etc. Dreadful idea, they're heavy enough when full of hay let alone muck.
 
No help as my barrow must be heading for 40 years old. It has had a new wheel, several patches/large sheets of tin riveted to cover holes, it must be on its third bottom at least. The legs have had some reinforcing welded to the bottoms, when the tube wore through and I have lost count of the amount of tape used to cover the handles, to make them comfortable.

I am not sure that they make them anymore.

My brother's wound baler twine onto the handles of one of ours. I've no idea how it stays there but it's surprisingly comfortable :)
 
I have Bullbarrow Broncos (110l) which are the perfect size, shape and weight but not as durable as some perhaps (though they last well enough) and a secondhand Haemmerlin which I find a bit narrow between the handles - I use my hips to help chuck the last bits out, if that's not tmi, and I get bruises from this one. It looks like it'll survive a nuclear war though.

Can’t they be mended, I’ve had my lovely wheelbarrows for over 25 years, they have been welded numerous times but no modern wheelbarrows comes close to matching their perfect weighting!!!
