when a horse goes on schooling livery

When mine was on schooling livery recently I paid the entry fees. If she's won any money I would have assumed it was mine but I think unless it was hundreds of pounds I would have given it to her rider!

i am real pleased wi horse and how guy has got her going and was just going t tell him to keep the winnings
but my friend said i shouldnt
bt i think he deserves t keep them if he has rode the horse
 
You could say that if he wins under £30 he can keep it, if it's over £30, you have 50/50. That's assuming you are paying him weekly/monthly for actually schooling/livery for the horse, and for diesel, entries etc.
 
How about giving it to the grooms, the riders make loads of money from having the horse on livery, well mine does anyway.
