Depends how long it's in there I think. And what the horse has been eating. (I hope we're talking horses!)

When my horse poo in the sea/river (oops) it floats away.
In water buckets in the morning it's normally at the bottom.
Lol.

It definately floats, in the sea, cos when my oh and I were in the Carabbean, we rode on the beach and in the sea, and all the horses poo...d as soon as they went in the water.

it would depend whether a horse is stabled or out 24/7 and how much fibre they consume.....

It floats of course.
Hence why water treadmills have a little fishnet standing by (like you had when you were little) to fish the poo out. They also have to chlorinate them or they stink.

Definately floats!
My laddie poops in and on everything.
It floated in his water bucket, now he's got an automatic drinker and it floats in that too!!

They should have made boats out of the stufff!

I didnt actually see the floaters till someone pointed them out..... but i do remember him plopping it out and the guy who was chucking sticks for his laborador called it out of the pond pretty quickly!!!!
