I know Jan is the last clip

I usually leave clipping til as late as poss though so then i dont have to rug up so much he he

I have been told to clip when they are getting too hot and sweaty for the work they do. So my boy is showing no signs of his winter coat yet so will keep him clip free for as long as possible really. But I think some people have already started to clip...
I guess I will need to clip beginning of October depending on the weather.

I usually try and leave it as long as poss but my boys are wolling up too but then i am still leaving them out at night although will be bringing them in soon as weathers changing. I will probably clip mid-october depending on how much more mine woolly up. I guess its down to your own decision really!

Cobby is getting done this weekend, S may get done too or left until next weekend. I don't "do" moulting coats!!

october is usually first clip time- i'll be doing our school ponies at the end of this month, beginning of october.

My own will be getting done asap- hes ID X and is just so sweaty when working that i cant really hold of any longer!

Yukky I hate that word "clipping". It's almost as bad as pulling manes and cold hosing.

I really don't enjoy it, getting all covered in hair. Well it's gotta be done I suppose.

I normally clip mine the weekend I decide to bring them in at nights. Last two years it's been end October/begin November. I've got heavy weight in/outdoor rugs so can get away with only clipping them both twice a season.

i'll clip mine as soon as he has to come in. i hate getting covered in hair too, might buy some goggles to keep it out of my eyes
