I bought a youngster from Ireland who we discovered had ringworm. We have treated it with Imaverol and Vircon s his stable , etc , burnt bedding etc and keeping everything separate. Vet said 4 days after last treatment he wouldn't be infectious but have since been told by a friend that he shouldn't go anywhere for 6 weeks. The other horses seem fine although one has a suspect bite which I am treating with IMaverol and athlete's foot cream just in case but no other marks. Its now been 4 weeks and want to take other horse to a lesson but don't know if that's ok . Also should I inform farrier etc even though its been treated and healed up?

It won't be transmitted unless you or the horse have spores on you which get onto another horse through contact so if it's cleared up I wouldn't be too worried.
