For what its worth I will tell you my experience with Fly Boy. He had started stopping on grass and a surface intermittently, not enough to put a picture together if that makes sense. This went on for months and I just could not put my finger on it. To cut a long story short I had nerve blocks and x-rays done and it turns out he has Ringbone which is pretty common in horses his age (14) and in show jumpers. I would serioulsy recommend having the same investigative stuff done with your horse, at the very least it will put your mind at rest. If Ringbone shows up it needn't be the end of the world either, my lad will be back in work soon. Good luck to you and your horse. xx
