When do you sell your puppies ?

How old are your puppies when people actually take them away? Just wondering how long people keep them before they part with them.

I would keep them until nine weeks, eight at the earliest.
But we don't breed anymore and don't intend to for the next five years at least - enough dogs in the world already!

Any pups we've ever bred have been about eight weeks old when they went, no younger.

When we bred, it was eight weeks absolute minimum and we preferred nine or ten. Would automatically discount any new owner who wanted them before eight weeks!

I advertised mine at 8 weeks and now at 9 weeks I have one left.

Thanks guys, we have 8 working bassetts and I want to keep half of them ! But not allowed, shame, wish we had a farm !
