Mine hasn't started yet. My friend's Arab leaves a trail of loose hair behind him, but my cob is clinging on to every hair.

Last year, she magically poofed it all off in one week in March. I'm hoping for the same this year!

Mine hangs on to every last hair for as long as he possibly can. We've had a few loose hairs in the last week or so, but this could go on until summer for him. I'd love to have a horse who just 'poofed' it all off. I get about 6 weeks of a nice summer coat and then he starts getting ready for winter again.

As soon as the days start getting longer except my 30yo who keeps hers until later , then it all seems to fall out in one go!

My little native started losing her coat in minus 6 degrees last month ? (to be honest I was actually quite happy, because it shows that I must be getting SOME of her prascend into her- she was still clinging onto her coat in May last year)

At least not until may, not finished until mid/late june which is why, even though he now does f. all he gets clipped at the end of February otherwise he rapidly starts getting too hot.

Started about 2 weeks ago, but I think I managed to sneak in a final partial clip before it all started coming out in clumps. His neck is chucking the hair off but the saddle area is still hanging on.
