When does a TB stop growing?

Have just tried the most perfect horse but having a bit of a dither...

4 rising 5 chestnut TB mare. Lovely, fun ride and DESPERATE to please and so willing. Most amazing jump and fab paces. I am totally in love with her! She is around 16.1hh (max)and I think still very bum high. I'm 5'8 and weigh 11.5 stone and worried that I'll look daft on her, as I have always had 17hh+ monsters.

Anyway, the point of that ramble is when do TB's stop growing? My KWPN didn't stop growing till 7 so I just wondered if she might sneak in another inch or 2... Or would I be fine on her as is? Worried about squashing her whilst jumping!!!

My girl is 4 rising 5, she's 15.2 and doesn't seem to be growing anymore ... But tbh i don't really know I want her to grow a bit more, would love her to be 16hh but I don't see it happening.

Haha - no help but made me laugh anyway!!

Got mine at 5 and at 9 he's the same height as he was then:- 16.2
What he has done is filled out alot so people think he's grown but we measure him and still 16.2
Having said that I think you'll be fine on her.

Mine is five rising six and put in a sneaky growth spurt over a five week break over Christmas .

Mine grew until at least 6, I was told he'd be 16hh but is 16.2hh! Good job he did grow to that as he didn't fill out very much!

Mine was supposed to make 16hh. If she's 14.3 1/2hh she's lucky.... She's six in two weeks

I bought mine as a 5year old 15hh in 5ft9 rugs, shes now 6 is standing at 15.2hh and in 6ft3 rugs because she has filled out so much and now has so much muscle

Mines just turned 5 and he's about 15.3hh, had a man help me restart him and I thought he'd look daft on him but he looks fine and he'll be about 5ft 10, the horse is quite compact and chunky. He's 3 and a half in my profile pic and he's filled out loads and grew a bit since.
