This weekend it was the beginning of the foal weaning.
All captured here. Not sure we are getting better at this vlogging as don’t want it to be about the humans which so many of them seem to be and we are certainly not nails and make up kind of people!!

Do you mind sharing who her sire is?
Do both foals have the same sire?

Enya is Opposition Bombshell x Marcolas G x Abergwiffy
Eris is Chrysler Key x Jaguar Mail
So quite different breeding but both have a healthy dose of TB with warmblood jumping lines

Really interesting to see as I've also never seen a foal weaned and thought it would be a lot more stressful and dramatic. You seemed to have done a very good job of setting them both up for success though.

I was also impressed with Eagle's efforts to manage to get that much mud underneath a turnout!

Marcolas G is a grandson of Alme, one of the founding sires of the Selle Français (and Zangersheide).

Thank you- it’s a relief when it goes how you plan, but it does take the right kind of set up and I really do think thats where many go wrong. Everytime I read on here about someone buying a weanling with no other foals for company and a restricted turn out regime it just horrifies me, as that really can mess them up for life o_O
