It turned out to be the head lamps of the on coming train.
Life has been prity rough for me lately with one thing or another but just when i thought my life was getting back on track it looks like i might need to find another job. It's no ones fault just one of those things.
The trouble is i have no idea where to look. Can anyone recomend me some websites to look on for grooms jobs. It needs to be in the south pref Wilts/Hants/Dorset area. It would be grate if i could stay in the new forest. I've looked on NFED and yard and groom but there doesn't seem to be alot of work about.

Have you looked on here? There are normally loads of grooms jobs advertised. Go to Classified (on the top tool bar) and 'Equestrian Jobs'.

What about The Lady magazine? they have grooms/mothers help jobs I think, maybe they are on line?

Poor you, hope things get better for you soon, try a website called yard and groom (i think!), there is another similar groom job site which is really good, its top of the list when you google 'groom jobs'. I have always found it great, but sometimes I think advertising locally is cheaper and easier. Good luck, I hope you find somehtign soon. x

Sorry to hear about the job!

Might be worth driving around, stopping where you see horses and asking if they need any help. A lot of people keep horses at home and need help 2-3 hours a day so if you had 2-3 of these clients that might end up being a better wage than one job. All the grooms I have known who have done this, and were able to help with house-sitting, made a lot more money than they would with one job.
