When is the horse market at its peak, does it have one?

I've been looking for a horse for months now and nothing has come up , whenever I'm just interested in what is for sale I always seem to find loads that I say ooooh I like that, there are sometimes when Horsequest,Horse & Hound and Horse Mart etc etc are all buzzing and full of hundreds of horses and ponies and other times when I think, theres not much on here at all!

Do you think the horse market has a peak in which there are lots of horses and ponies for sale, and when is it or is the horse market just steady???

Spring and Summer boom - horse prices are more inflated.
Autumn and Winter - horse prices can go down as not many people want the hard work over winter.

People tend to sell more in Spring/Summer I think. I was looking seriously from December - February and there wasn't much but then I found my boy.
