When on a yard is it any of your business...

Its only ever the business of the YO and livery...after all its the YO's yard and what they say goes if people dont like it then they leave

Technically no, although I suppose if I was completely honest it would annoy me if I was paying more for the same service that some one else is paying less for? Not sure I would use it against them in a confrontation situation though!!
 
I don't understand the question (stupid Monday morning head)?

Do you mean with regards to liveries all paying different amounts? If so then yes I like to know that I am not paying more than everyone else. I left a yard because certain people were getting jiggy with the yard owner and then blackmailing him no livery or else I will tell Mrs Yard owner!!!

I had 3 down there and refused to get jiggy so left yard lol

depends on what you are actually paying for. I know someone that will charge someone to use their lorry, but others get to use it for free.
 
as a YO i am VERY clear with my price structure and everyone knows why they pay what they pay. I find this keeps harmony... obviously required in this case.
There are reductions for those with more than one horse and thats it. Everything is clear on the monthly invoice.
 
It isn't their business and they certainly have no right to bring it up in an argument.

I will admit that it does peeve me that I pay the same for a smaller stable on the yard i'm on as I do for the bigger one. There are 4 stables of the smaller size all other 3 occupied by 12h2 ponies (mine is a 16h horse which is technically too big for it anyway but 'cannot' be moved). I have nothing against the liveries who are charged less and although I have spoken to YO they will not reduce mine on the argument I have a larger horse (fair enough if given a larger stable as grazing is seperate!). My choices are put up with it or move, so for now I put up!!
 
Its none of their business, although in my experience it can cause niggles when people pay different amounts. But how do they know what you pay - isn't it between you and the YO?
 
Is this to do with your ongoing dispute? If it is to so with how much you contribute v them, and who has more right to the pony, then it is a different matter. However, how much each person pays for livery is up to the YO and no one else.
 
Well that is kind of what started the confrontation off but i don't see how what i pay and what i don't has anything to do with them...




PS they also very childishly accused me of using their tack... as another dig at me. I have manners and would never touch it without asking nor have i any need to!
