When a horse gains some weight, which parts of it's body would it go to first and in which order? I hope this makes sense. Or is each horse different?

Depends how quickly they put the weight on, also on the breed and individual. Cobs tend to put it on the bum and crest and tbs on the bellys first.

It all depends but if you're talking about a horse in poor condition it is usually belly, then shoulders, then back end and thighs. The neck is always the last to improve (and usually seems to take the longest in comparison to the other parts!)

Well, that seems like good news so far!
